Kent County Council

Kent County Council have recently discovered that only genuine N&C Phlexicare RADAR keys are reliable, efficient and will work with official RADAR locks. RADAR locks form the National Key Scheme (NKS) where over 10,000 locks have been installed all over the UK to protect public disabled toilets from vandalism and misuse. A member from the council stated “ The non N&C Phlexicare NKS keys we purchased do not seem to fit in all RADAR locks. We have noticed that some of our non N&C Phlexicare NKS keys have a wider barrel section compared to those bought directly from the official manufacturer, N&C Phlexicare”. We therefore, advise all of those who would like to purchase RADAR products to ensure that they are the official products manufactured by N&C Phlexicare. RADAR keys are available to disabled and registered blind people to enable them to access facilities safely, comfortably and without the need to queue for public W.C's. This allows for a clean, functional toilet to be available when required.
